Where are we?
‘Take Time Out’ is based at Half Acre, which is situated on the Horton Road between Ringwood and the Cranborne road. Wimborne, Ferndown, Verwood, and Ringwood are all within a 10-15 minute drive away. Bournemouth takes about a 30 minute drive down the spur road.

Directions from M27 past Ringwood and up to the Ashley Heath roundabout
1. Travelling West on the M27
2. After Ringwood, the A31 changes from 2 to 4 lanes. Take second lane from the left and stay in this lane up the slip road signposted Bournemouth.
3. Keep in the right hand of these two lanes and at the Ashley Heath roundabout, take the third exit signposted to Horton (Horton Road).
4. Follow this road for about 5 miles, past Moors Valley Country Park on your right; through Three Legged Cross (pub of that name on your left) and past Hilliers garden centre, also on your left.
5. At the first mini-roundabout take the first exit (straight on) past Oakdean Care Home on your left; then at the next mini roundabout,
take the second exit (straight on), Horton Road.

The road continues straight for about 1 mile up Clump Hill to Burts lane crossroads on the brow of the hill and shown as A on the map. As you go down the hill, Half Acre is the first property you see on your left.
